High Voltage Arc Tracking Rate(HVTR)：高電圧アークトラッキング速度
    3.97mmの間隔で大電圧小電流を流し、電極間に放電させる。
    この間隔を徐々に拡げ、アークが飛ばなくなると、また元の間隔に戻す。
    これを２分間続け、トラック跡の長さを２分で除した値。

D495：耐アーク試験
    6.25mmの間隔で対向させた電極間に10mAの放電電流を、最初は継続的に流し、１分毎に放電間隔を増し、最終的に40mAの電流を流し、放電が生じるまでの時間(秒)を測定する。

Comparative Tracking Index(CTI)：比較トラッキング指数
    100～600Vの電圧を印可し、30秒に１回の割合で滴下口から塩化アンモニウム0.1%水溶液を50滴滴下し、表面破壊を起こした時の電圧(V)を測定する。
